Privacy Statement ProMedia

ProMedia Holding B.V. (hereafter: ProMedia) is a multimedia company and publisher of business-to-business magazines in the mobility, traffic and transport sectors.

You therefore hand over an important part of your business operations to us. To make this possible, you provide us with personal data. For example, when you send us documents, when you call us, e-mail us, write a letter, when you visit us or speak to an ProMedia employee. We therefore think it is important that you know that you can rely on us to handle your (personal) data carefully and confidentially. In this statement we provide you with an explanation and we explain exactly how we do this.

What is personal data?

Whose personal data do we process?

We process personal data for the benefit of our own business operations. This includes personal data of our customers, employees and personal data that we collect via the website. What do we use your personal data for?

When processing personal data, ProMedia adheres to the rules prescribed by privacy legislation, such as the GDPR. Only the personal data that is necessary is collected and the personal data is then only processed for that specific purpose. We keep an eye on the nature of the personal data and adjust an appropriate technical and organizational level of security accordingly. You can therefore assume that we handle personal data carefully, safely and confidentially.

Confidentiality

The services provided by ProMedia require that our employees have access to your personal data. In order to guarantee the protection of your personal data here too, all our employees have signed a confidentiality statement. We hereby impose on our employees that they keep your personal data absolutely confidential and that they handle the data you entrust to us with care. It is important to know that only authorized personnel may process your data.

Inspection and correction of your personal data

We collect and process personal data from you, but this data will of course remain yours. That is why we always offer you the opportunity to see what information we have about you. We do not store your personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose for which we obtained the data from you. The criteria for determining the retention period of your personal data are: (a) the duration of the agreement with ProMedia, (b) the existence of a statutory retention obligation or period or (c) the existence of a (potential) claim or dispute in the context of which the data should be kept.
